Latest Food Prices in Jakarta: Cooking Oil Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jakarta today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday, February 14th, 2025, at 09:19 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include Minyakita, bulk cooking oil, premium rice, packaged wheat flour, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, large red chilies, packaged cooking oil, skipjack tuna, and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil saw the highest price increase of Rp2,469 (13.32%), reaching Rp21,000 per liter. Skipjack tuna experienced the largest price decrease of Rp11,438 (27.6%), reaching Rp30,000 per kg.

4. Curly Red Chilies: Rp50,000 per kg (down 8.99%)
5. Shallots: Rp40,000 per kg (down 10.53%)
6. Red Onions: Rp35,000 per kg (down 11.72%)
7. Mackerel: Rp35,000 per kg (down 11.67%)
8. Broiler Chicken: Rp32,000 per kg (down 15.37%)
9. Milkfish: Rp32,000 per kg (down 24.93%)
10. Skipjack Tuna: Rp30,000 per kg (down 27.6%)
11. Broiler Eggs: Rp27,750 per kg (up 1.0%)
