Latest Food Prices in Jambi: Onions Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (23/9/2024) at 09.35 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are shallots, simple packaged cooking oil, milkfish, bulk cooking oil, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, red chili peppers, medium rice, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp1,020 (4.39%) to Rp24,260 per kg. Curly red chilies experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp790 (3.18%) to Rp24,040 per kg.
