Current Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Prices of Salt, Sugar, and Cooking Oil Increase

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (6/1/2025) at 14:19 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, red chilies, curly red chilies, pure beef, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, premium rice, milkfish, skipjack tuna, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, up by Rp59,290 (83.85%) to Rp130,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of broiler chicken experienced the sharpest decrease, down by Rp7,360 (22.4%) to Rp25,500 per kg.

1. Pure Beef: Rp140,000 per kg (up 3.77%)
2. Red Chilies: Rp130,000 per kg (up 83.85%)
3. Curly Red Chilies: Rp80,000 per kg (up 20.61%)
4. Shallots: Rp50,000 per kg (unchanged)
5. Garlic Bulbs: Rp40,000 per kg (down 5.73%)
6. Mackerel: Rp35,000 per kg (down 4.03%)
7. Milkfish: Rp32,000 per kg (down 20.0%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp31,000 per kg (up 0.06%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp30,000 per kg (down 17.42%)
10. Broiler Chicken: Rp25,500 per kg (down 22.4%)
