Lampung's Food Prices Today: Egg Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (7/9/2024) at 14.11 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, pure beef, chicken eggs, dry soybean (import), and garlic cloves.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, farmer-level corn, Indian mackerel, red chilies, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Chicken eggs saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp310 (1.17%) to Rp26,900 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chilies experienced the sharpest price drop, falling Rp970 (3.26%) to Rp28,770 per kg.
