Latest Food Prices in the Yogyakarta Special Region: Oil and Egg Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (7/7/2024) at 13:05 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are dry soybean (import), chicken eggs, simple packaged cooking oil, shallots, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, mackerel, chicken meat, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp370 (1.0%) to Rp37,320 per kg. Curly red chilies experienced the largest price drop, decreasing Rp520 (1.44%) to Rp35,520 per kg.
