Latest South Sumatra Food Prices: What's the Price of Chicken Meat?

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (6/11/2024) at 09:49 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased in price and 13 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, bulk cooking oil, SPHP rice, iodized fine salt, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, shallots, garlic bulbs, milkfish, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase, jumping by Rp530 (4.62%) to Rp12,010 per kg. Red chili saw the steepest price drop, falling by Rp2,920 (7.48%) to Rp36,120 per kg.
