Today's Food Prices in Indonesia: Oil, Rice, and Red Chili Prices Increase

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (August 10, 2025) at 16.17 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 12 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include corn at farmer level, bulk cooking oil, red cayenne pepper, milkfish, and packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as Minyakita, frozen buffalo meat (imported), consumption salt, pure beef, and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean seeds (imported) saw the highest surge of Rp156 (1.45%) to Rp10,943 per kg. Meanwhile, consumption salt price experienced the sharpest drop of Rp130 (1.11%) to Rp11,612 per kg.
