The daily price of low-quality rice in North Sumatra Province's traditional markets increased by 1.21% over the past month.

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 07:44 WIB, the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in North Sumatra's traditional markets has not changed compared to the previous day or the last week.

However, compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in traditional markets has increased from Rp12,350.

Meanwhile, the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in traditional markets in North Sumatra over the last three months has increased by 0.4% from the previous recorded price of Rp12,450.

The highest recorded increase in the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in traditional markets in this province was in September 2017, with a 45.36% increase, and the lowest decrease was also recorded in September 2017, with a -31.2% decrease.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in North Sumatra show one commodity decreased and 18 others increased. The commodity with a price decrease is Beef.
