Current Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Onion, Chili, and Rice Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (13/5/2024) at 14.07 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are broiler chicken meat, chicken eggs, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, shallots, medium rice, red chilies, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase was dry soybean (import), jumping by Rp80 (0.72%) to Rp11,160 per kg. The commodity with the lowest price decrease was red chilies, dropping by Rp9,190 (26.96%) to Rp24,900 per kg.
