Green Chili Prices in Yogyakarta Increase by 15.99% in a Week

The price of green chilies in Yogyakarta Special Region reached Rp 54,400 per kg on Friday, December 9, 2022. Compared to other regions, this area showed the highest price increase in the last week.

According to daily commodity price monitoring data from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center, the price of green chilies in Yogyakarta Special Region has increased by 15.99% within a week.

Meanwhile, compared to the price 30 days prior, the price of green chilies in this region has increased by 15.99%.

However, over the past year, the selling price of green chilies in modern markets in Yogyakarta Special Region has actually decreased. The previous highest record reached Rp 93,700 per kg.

For the January-December 2022 period, the price of green chilies in modern markets continued to rise, increasing by 15.99% compared to the previous month.
