Current Bali Food Prices: Chili Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (8/9/2024) at 12:57 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, medium rice, mackerel, livestock-grade corn, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, chicken eggs, shallots, premium rice, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Livestock-grade corn experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp120 (2.05%) to Rp5,970 per kg. Iodized fine salt saw the steepest price decrease, down by Rp2,640 (18.16%) to Rp11,900 per kg.
