Today's Food Price Update in Riau: Prices of Salt, Beef, and Cooking Oil Drop (Wednesday, January 17, 2024)

The price of several food commodities in Riau today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (17/1/2024) at 12:39 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include wheat flour (bulk), mackerel, red chilies, shallots, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, pure beef, premium rice, farmer-level corn, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of broiler chicken experienced the highest increase of Rp910 (2.74%) to Rp34,180 per kg. The price of farmer-level corn saw the lowest decrease of Rp180 (2.34%) to Rp7,500 per kg.
