Latest Banten Region Food Prices: Chicken Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Monday (13/5/2024) at 16:46 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, bulk wheat flour, chicken eggs, granulated sugar, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, red onions, farmer-level corn, skipjack tuna, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of broiler chicken increased the most, by Rp750 (1.99%) to Rp38,440 per kg. The price of red onions decreased the least, by Rp1,640 (3.41%) to Rp46,490 per kg.
