Indonesia Food Price Update Today: Onion, Oil, and Chili Prices Drop (Sunday, February 11, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Sunday (11/2/2024) at 11:23 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, Indian mackerel, skipjack tuna, pure beef, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, iodized fine salt, bulk wheat flour, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of livestock-grade corn saw the highest increase, jumping Rp170 (1.99%) to Rp8,710 per kg. The price of iodized fine salt saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp270 (2.27%) to Rp11,620 per kg.
