Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Onions Up, Red Chili Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (16/10/2025) at 12:14 PM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include broiler eggs, premium rice, medium rice, broiler meat, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as mackerel, consumption salt, red cayenne pepper, curly red chili, and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulb garlic saw the highest jump of Rp881 (2.17%) to Rp41,529 per kg. Red cayenne pepper prices, however, fell the sharpest by Rp1,453 (2.92%) to Rp48,235 per kg.

7. Shallots: Rp46,176 per kg (up 1.21%)
8. Mackerel: Rp42,333 per kg (down 0.78%)
9. Bulb Garlic: Rp41,529 per kg (up 2.17%)
10. Broiler Meat: Rp39,133 per kg (up 0.86%)
11. Broiler Eggs: Rp30,588 per kg (up 0.47%)
