Latest Food Prices in East Java, What is the Price of Chicken Meat?

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (12/5/2024) at 17.36 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, pure beef, red chilies, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), granulated sugar, broiler chicken, iodized fine salt, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp640 (3.04%) to Rp21,670 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp100 (1.81%) to Rp5,430 per kg.
