Lampung Region Food Prices Friday (July 19th): Chili Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (19/7/2024) at 12:34 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, red chilies, bulk wheat flour, broiler chicken, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as garlic bulbs, dry soybean (import), farmer-level corn, SPHP rice, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,170 (2.35%) to Rp50,940 per kg. Farmer-level corn experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp90 (1.93%) to Rp4,580 per kg.
