State Revenue Realization Grew by 18.24% in October 2021

The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) recorded that state revenue reached Rp 1,509.96 trillion in October 2021. This figure grew by 18.24% from the same period the previous year, which was Rp 1,276.99 trillion.

This realization reached 86.6% of the 2021 State Budget (APBN) target. The target for state revenue in this year's APBN was Rp 1,743.6 trillion.

In detail, state revenue from taxes was recorded at Rp 953.62 trillion in October 2021. This amount increased by 15.32% compared to October 2020, which was Rp 826.93 trillion.

Realized non-tax state revenue (PNBP) was recorded at Rp 349.17 trillion in October 2021. This amount increased by 25.2% compared to October of last year, which was Rp 278.82 trillion.

Meanwhile, state revenue from customs and excise duties was recorded at Rp 205.78 trillion in the tenth month of this year. This amount increased by 25.47% compared to the same period last year, which was Rp 164 trillion.

Furthermore, realized state expenditure reached Rp 2,058.9 trillion in October 2021. This value grew by 0.8% from October 2020, which reached Rp 2,041.8 trillion.

Thus, Indonesia still experienced a budget deficit of Rp 548.9 trillion. This deficit is equivalent to 3.29% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
