North Kalimantan Food Price Update Today: Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Friday, January 19, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in North Kalimantan today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (19/1/2024) at 14.40 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are milkfish, simple packaged cooking oil, skipjack tuna, chicken eggs, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, shallots, curly red chilies, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp7,940 (18.97%) to Rp49,800 per kg. Curly red chilies saw the lowest price decrease of Rp1,530 (2.11%) to Rp70,880 per kg.
