Sumatera Selatan Food Prices, Thursday (June 20th): What's the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (20/6/2024) at 14.01 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are medium-grain rice, tongkol fish, chicken eggs, premium rice, and kembung fish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, garlic bulbs, shallots, milkfish, and red chilies have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Chicken eggs saw the highest price increase of Rp300 (1.07%) to Rp28,280 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp1,930 (3.74%) to Rp49,660 per kg.
