Government Permanent Investment Reached Rp 3.03 Quadrillion in 2020

Based on the Central Government Financial Report (LKPP), the value of the government's long-term permanent investments reached Rp 3.03 quadrillion in 2020. This figure increased by 4.3% compared to the previous year.

In detail, permanent investment in government equity participation (PMP) amounted to Rp 2.4 quadrillion, permanent investment in Public Service Agencies (BLU) Rp 8.9 billion, and other permanent investments Rp 627.74 trillion.

Regarding PMP, investments in state-owned enterprises (Persero) reached Rp 2.31 quadrillion, in state-owned companies (Perum) Rp 31.29 trillion, in international financial institutions Rp 26.5 trillion, and in other business entities Rp 33.4 trillion.

Other permanent investments include investments in Bank Indonesia amounting to Rp 440.46 trillion. There were also investments in the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) of Rp 139.18 trillion and other PMPs of Rp 48.1 trillion.

Meanwhile, permanent BLU investments include an investment in PPK Gelora Bung Karno through the State Secretariat worth Rp 6.6 billion. Permanent BLU investments were also made in the State Islamic University (UIN) of North Sumatra amounting to Rp 2.28 billion.

Long-term permanent investments are made to be held continuously without any intention of being sold or withdrawn. The aim is to obtain dividends or exert significant influence in the long term and maintain institutional relationships.
