Today's Food Price Update in Yogyakarta Special Region: Beef and Rice Prices Drop (Sunday, March 24, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (24/3/2024) at 12:15 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken, milkfish, dry soybean (import), and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, chicken eggs, pure beef, granulated sugar, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallot prices surged the highest by Rp410 (1.13%) to Rp36,570 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices decreased the most by Rp1,980 (5.81%) to Rp32,110 per kg.
