Jakarta, DKI Jakarta Food Prices Tuesday (May 14th): Chili Pepper, Cooking Oil, and Egg Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Jakarta today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (14/5/2024) at 13.01 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are bulk cooking oil, simple packaged cooking oil, chicken eggs, milkfish, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium-grain rice, curly red chilies, mackerel, granulated sugar, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase of Rp770 (1.93%) to Rp40,680 per kg. Curly red chilies had the lowest price decrease of Rp2,730 (5.37%) to Rp48,070 per kg.
