Today's Food Prices in Indonesia February 05: Prices of Bird's Eye Chili, Onions and Eggs Rise

Several food commodity prices in Indonesia are observed to have increased today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (February 5, 2026) at 14:23 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 2 decreased.

The commodities that experienced price increases are curly red chili, red bird's eye chili, premium packaged palm cooking oil, Honan garlic, and beef rump.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as imported soybeans and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili prices rose the most by Rp1,500 (2.38%) to Rp64,500 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chili prices fell the sharpest by Rp600 (1.36%) to Rp43,500 per kg.
