Latest Food Prices in East Java: Red Chili Prices Rise, Egg Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 3:35 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 15 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include large red chilies, bulk cooking oil, packaged wheat flour, curly red chilies, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as Minyakita, premium rice, medium rice, broiler chicken, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp941 (1.98%), reaching Rp48,365 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dry soybean (import) decreased the most sharply by Rp97 (1.0%), reaching Rp9,564 per kg.

8. Broiler Chicken: Rp34,968 per kg (down 0.15%)
