Latest Food Prices in Central Java: Cooking Oil Up, Shallots Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (16/7/2024) at 14.10 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), skipjack tuna, pure beef, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, broiler chicken, granulated sugar, Indian mackerel, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase at Rp7,360 (29.16%), reaching Rp32,600 per kg. Red onion prices saw the steepest decline, dropping Rp940 (3.46%) to Rp26,190 per kg.

9. Chicken Eggs: Rp27,180 per kg (down 0.51%)
