Food Prices Monday (4/8) in Banten: Buffalo Meat and Egg Prices Down

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

According to the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (August 4, 2025) at 11:07 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 9 increased and 16 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are bulk wheat flour, corn at farmer level, packaged wheat flour, large red chilies, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as pure beef, mackerel, broiler chicken, milkfish, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Corn at farmer level saw the highest jump of Rp1,125 (16.36%) to Rp8,000 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish prices dropped the deepest by Rp5,000 (14.15%) to Rp30,333 per kg.
