Current Food Prices in Jambi Province: Onion and Chili Prices Rise

The price of several food commodities in Jambi today is observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (12/7/2024) at 12:55 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are milkfish, red chilies, mackerel, shallots, and red onions.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), broiler chicken meat, skipjack tuna, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices increased the most, by Rp1,890 (6.77%) to Rp29,820 per kg. Curly red chili prices decreased the most, by Rp440 (1.13%) to Rp38,590 per kg.
