Food Prices in Jambi on Monday (January 6th): Salt Prices Drop

The price of several food commodities in Jambi today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (6/1/2025) at 17.52 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, dry soybean (import), red chili peppers, premium rice, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, bulk wheat flour, simple packaged cooking oil, SPHP rice, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili peppers saw the highest price increase of Rp3,330 (5.65%) to Rp62,320 per kg. Curly red chilies experienced the largest price drop of Rp6,520 (14.91%) to Rp37,220 per kg.
