Jakarta's Daily Food Prices: Rice and Chili Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday (12/4/2025) at 17.51 WIB, out of 22 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are curly red chilies, packaged cooking oil, chicken eggs, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour, milkfish, red chilies, bulk cooking oil, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,588 (3.01%) to Rp54,412 per kg. Red chilies experienced the sharpest price drop, falling Rp5,882 (5.73%) to Rp96,765 per kg.
