Prices of Curly Red Chili Peppers Highest in These 10 Provinces (Thursday, March 16, 2023)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Rp 68,730 per kg for curly red chilies (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces as of Thursday, March 16, 2023. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 65,930 per kg.

The daily price of curly red chilies in modern markets in East Nusa Tenggara was the highest in Indonesia, at Rp 119,900 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of curly red chilies in this province has not changed. The highest price ever recorded in this region was Rp 139,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in DKI Jakarta, curly red chilies were sold at Rp 102,850 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of curly red chilies in Banten was Rp 102,800 per kg, East Kalimantan Rp 89,450 per kg, and Bangka Belitung Islands Rp 87,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, 17 provinces had curly red chili sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for curly red chilies were North Sulawesi, North Sumatra, and West Papua.
