Today's Food Prices in East Java: Prices of Salt, Sugar, and Beef Rise

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (30/6/2024) at 11:16 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 14 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, pure beef, bulk cooking oil, medium rice, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, milkfish, shallots, skipjack tuna, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) commodities saw the highest increase of Rp550 (5.0%) to Rp11,550 per kg. Shallots saw the sharpest price decrease of Rp3,160 (10.22%) to Rp27,770 per kg.
