Food Prices Monday (28/7) Indonesia Region: Oil, Salt and Beef Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (July 28, 2025) at 16:34 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 18 increased and 5 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include consumption sugar, skipjack tuna, pure beef, packaged wheat flour, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as large red chili, premium rice, mackerel, fresh buffalo meat (local), and corn at farmer level decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red onion prices surged the highest by Rp1,309 (2.65%) to Rp50,663 per kg. Meanwhile, fresh buffalo meat (local) prices dropped the deepest by Rp682 (0.48%) to Rp141,136 per kg.
