Aceh Region's Latest Food Prices: Chili Prices Rise, Onion Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (3/5/2024) at 15:19 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, premium rice, pure beef, chicken eggs, and medium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybeans (import), mackerel, milkfish, fine iodized salt, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of skipjack tuna increased the most, by Rp1,090 (3.69%) to Rp30,630 per kg. The price of corn at the farmer level decreased the most, by Rp680 (8.07%) to Rp7,750 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 20 food commodities in Aceh according to Bapanas as of May 3, 2024, at 15:19 WIB.

6. Garlic Bulbs: Rp41,310 per kg (down 0.39%)
7. Milkfish: Rp34,030 per kg (down 1.02%)
8. Chicken Meat: Rp31,900 per kg (down 0.03%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp30,630 per kg (up 3.69%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp26,640 per kg (up 0.53%)
