Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region on Monday (September 16th): Oil and Onion Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (16/9/2024) at 10:36 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, mackerel, iodized fine salt, garlic bulbs, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), broiler chicken eggs, milkfish, skipjack tuna, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp4,990 (17.66%) to Rp33,250 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dry soybean (import) decreased the most, by Rp450 (4.69%) to Rp9,150 per kg.
