Today's Food Prices in South Sumatra: Chili Prices Up, Rice Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (26/7/2024) at 09:49 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, milkfish, red chilies, pure beef, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, chicken eggs, dry soybeans (import), broiler chicken, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp3,310 (5.07%) to Rp68,600 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of bulk wheat flour decreased the most, by Rp120 (1.33%) to Rp8,930 per kg.
