Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Onions Up, Chilies Down (Friday, January 19, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (19/1/2024) at 11:15 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are broiler chicken, iodized fine salt, chicken eggs, shallots, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, red chilies, pure beef, granulated sugar, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp1,670 (4.3%) to Rp40,540 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of Indian mackerel saw the lowest decrease of Rp2,340 (6.57%) to Rp33,260 per kg.
