Current Food Prices in Banten: Onions Up, Oil Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (31/10/2024) at 08.45 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are SPHP rice, dry soybean (import), bulk wheat flour, garlic cloves, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, simple packaged cooking oil, mackerel fish, red chilies, and broiler chicken have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp2,450 (8.18%) to Rp32,400 per kg. Bulk cooking oil experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp3,580 (22.62%) to Rp12,250 per liter.
