Food Prices Thursday (31/7) Banten Region: Rice, Red Chili, and Onion Prices Down

The prices of a number of food commodities in Banten today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (July 31, 2025) at 11:07 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include packaged wheat flour, consumption sugar, frozen buffalo meat (imported), mackerel, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as large red chili, pure beef, broiler chicken, packaged cooking oil, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Consumption salt jumped the highest by Rp632 (6.55%) to Rp10,286 per kg. Meanwhile, red onion prices dropped the deepest by Rp7,250 (13.43%) to Rp46,750 per kg.
