Bali Food Price Update Today: Rice, Onion, and Oil Prices Drop (Saturday, March 16, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 11:31 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), mackerel, milkfish, garlic bulb, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, shallots, broiler chicken meat, simple packaged cooking oil, and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel experienced the highest price increase of Rp2,980 (8.44%) to Rp38,290 per kg. Red chili peppers saw the lowest price decrease of Rp3,680 (5.88%) to Rp58,890 per kg.
