West Kalimantan Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Chicken Prices Down (Thursday, January 18, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in West Kalimantan today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (18/1/2024) at 13:45 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, red chilies, curly red chilies, medium rice, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, skipjack tuna, granulated sugar, farmer-level corn, and broiler chicken have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp3,580 (6.57%) to Rp58,070 per kg. Farmer-level corn experienced the lowest price decrease, falling Rp380 (4.38%) to Rp8,290 per kg.
