Green Chili Prices Highest in These 10 Provinces (Monday, March 7, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of green chilies (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces reaching Rp 70,930 per kg, as of Monday, March 7, 2022. Overall, the average this week increased compared to last week's average of Rp 68,990 per kg.

The daily price of green chilies in modern markets in North Kalimantan was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 150,000 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of green chilies in this province has not changed. The highest selling price ever recorded in this region was Rp 200,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in East Kalimantan, the price of green chilies was sold at Rp 112,150 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of green chilies in West Kalimantan was Rp 86,500 per kg, West Sumatra Rp 80,750 per kg, and Bangka Belitung Islands Rp 79,400 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are eight provinces with green chili sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for green chilies are Central Sulawesi, North Sulawesi, and Aceh.
