Daily Price of Red Chili Peppers in Traditional Markets, March 2024-2025

Latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of red chili peppers in Riau Province's traditional markets is recorded at Rp70,850. This price is down Rp600 compared to the previous day.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of red chili peppers in traditional markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp75,050.

Meanwhile, the daily price of red chili peppers in traditional markets in Riau over the past three months has increased by 23.43% from the previous price of Rp57,400.

The record high for the daily price of red chili peppers in the province's traditional markets was previously recorded in May 2020 with a 57.84% increase, and the lowest decrease was recorded in June 2020 at -50.51%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Riau show seven commodities decreased and 11 others increased. Basic commodities with price decreases include Premium Quality Granulated Sugar, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Chicken Meat, Fresh Broiler Chicken, Chicken Eggs, Granulated Sugar, and Fresh Broiler Chicken Eggs.
