Lampung Region Food Prices on Monday (May 27th): Onion, Sugar, and Oil Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (27/5/2024) at 14:15 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include farmer-level corn, bulk wheat flour, broiler chicken, Indian mackerel, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, shallots, medium rice, milkfish, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Indian mackerel experienced the highest price increase, jumping by Rp340 (1.06%) to Rp32,530 per kg. Milkfish, on the other hand, saw the lowest price decrease, dropping by Rp740 (2.58%) to Rp27,890 per kg.

7. Indian Mackerel: Rp32,530 per kg (up 1.06%)
8. Chicken Eggs: Rp29,470 per kg (down 0.07%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp28,770 per kg (down 0.17%)
