Daily Prices of Large Red Chilies at Modern Markets in DKI Jakarta Province Increased by 64.04% in the Last Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 4:23 PM WIB, the daily price of large red chilies in modern markets in DKI Jakarta Province has not changed compared to the previous day, similar to the price trend over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of large red chilies in modern markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp52,700 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of large red chilies in modern markets in DKI Jakarta over the past three months has increased by 26.76% from the previously recorded price of Rp68,200 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of large red chilies in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in June 2022 with an increase of 112.55%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2017 with a decrease of -46.14%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in DKI Jakarta show 11 commodities decreased and 18 others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Chicken Meat, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Quality 2 Beef, Fresh Broiler Chicken, Cooking Oil, Beef, Medium-Sized Garlic, Garlic, Medium-Sized Shallots, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, and Quality 1 Beef.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price trend over the past month in DKI Jakarta Province:

1. Super II Quality Rice per kg: Rp17,300 (up 24.46%)
2. Chicken Meat per kg: Rp42,700 (down 16.44%)
3. Green Chili per kg: Rp101,950 (up 72.21%)
4. Rice per kg: Rp16,550 (up 9.97%)
5. Shallot per kg: Rp57,050 (up 14.21%)
6. Curly Red Chili per kg: Rp96,450 (up 97.04%)
7. Medium II Quality Rice per kg: Rp15,500 (up 13.55%)
8. Fresh Chicken Eggs per kg: Rp27,800 (up 1.46%)
9. Inferior I Quality Rice per kg: Rp14,950 (up 5.65%)
10. Red Chili per kg: Rp110,950 (up 62.21%)
11. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 per kg: Rp21,650 (down 8.65%)
12. Quality 2 Beef per kg: Rp165,450 (down 7.93%)
13. Super I Quality Rice per kg: Rp20,650 (up 3.77%)
14. Large Red Chili per kg: Rp86,450 (up 64.04%)
15. Fresh Broiler Chicken per kg: Rp42,700 (down 16.44%)
16. Cooking Oil per kg: Rp20,900 (down 9.52%)
