Latest Food Prices in Bali: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Friday (27/12/2024) at 10:56 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, simple packaged cooking oil, medium rice, curly red chilies, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, shallots, skipjack tuna, broiler chicken, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase was livestock-level corn, up Rp270 (4.81%) to Rp5,880 per kg. The largest price decrease was for milkfish, down Rp1,700 (4.6%) to Rp35,250 per kg.
