Daily Price of Green Chili Peppers in Traditional Markets, December 2023-2024

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of green chilies in traditional markets in South Kalimantan province is recorded at Rp24,650. This price is down Rp350 compared to the previous day.

Regarding the price over the last month, the daily price of green chilies in traditional markets has decreased from a previous record of Rp29,650.

Meanwhile, the daily price of green chilies in traditional markets over the last three months in South Kalimantan has fallen by 7.33%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of green chilies in traditional markets in South Kalimantan province is traded at Rp26,600.

The record high for the daily price of green chilies in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in May 2020 with an increase of 73.91%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in November 2017 with a decrease of -41.17%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in South Kalimantan recorded four commodities decreasing and three others increasing. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Fresh Broiler Chicken, Red Chilies, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, and Medium-Sized Garlic.

9. Curly Red Chilies per Kg Rp116,900 per kg (up 42.74%)
