Lampung Food Price Update Today: Prices of Chicken, Chilies, and Beef Rise (Thursday, February 8, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (8/2/2024) at 10:32 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), fine iodized salt, shallots, simple packaged cooking oil, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as farmer-level corn, dry soybean (import), granulated sugar, chicken eggs, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,190 (4.48%) to Rp27,750 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dry soybean (import) saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp230 (1.85%) to Rp12,230 per kg.

6. Mackerel: Rp33,690 per kg (up 0.66%)
7. Milkfish: Rp28,020 per kg (up 0.65%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp27,910 per kg (down 0.53%)
9. Shallots: Rp27,750 per kg (up 4.48%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp27,210 per kg (down 0.04%)
