10 Provinces with the Highest Chicken Egg Prices (Monday, December 12, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded the average daily price of chicken eggs (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces reaching Rp 31,970 per kg, data as of Monday, December 12, 2022. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 31,450 per kg.

The daily price of chicken eggs in North Maluku's modern markets was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 47,500 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of chicken eggs in this province has not changed. The highest selling price ever recorded in this region is Rp 47,500 per kg.

Meanwhile, in West Papua's modern markets, chicken eggs were sold at Rp 41,900 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of chicken eggs in East Nusa Tenggara was Rp 41,300 per kg, Gorontalo Rp 37,300 per kg, and Central Sulawesi Rp 37,200 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 19 provinces with chicken egg sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest chicken egg selling prices are Aceh, Jambi, and Bangka Belitung Islands.
