Banten Region Food Prices Monday (March 10): Rice Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (10/03/2025) at 14:46 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 19 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are dry soybean (import), broiler chicken, SPHP rice, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, Indian mackerel, farmer-level corn, red chilies, and packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) experienced the highest price increase of Rp730 (6.81%) to Rp11,444 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chilies saw the sharpest price decrease of Rp8,020 (12.86%) to Rp54,333 per kg.
